Stand-Up Comedy 101 is a beginner level class designed to help folks learn how to write, edit, and organize an act take it to the next level. This class will work on developing a persona and developing the tool box that includes crowd work, riffing, and specialty writing for commercial application. Over the 8 weeks you’ll create 5 minutes of stand-up comedy that will culminate with a graduation show at the end where students will show off their new skills.
Ralph Tetta is an experienced and talented comic who has lived the comedy life. As a performer, club manager, and even as a part of the George Carlin tour, Ralph has been everywhere, done everything and seen it all. Ralph has been featured on the Nobodies of Comedy national tour, the Bad Boys of Comedy New York State tour, and the North American touring company of Joey & Maria’s Comedy Wedding, as well as a long running perpetual nationwide tour of comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events, murder mystery dinner theater shows, casinos, a wedding, and a nudist colony where he received no money because no one had any pockets.
