Stand-Up 1: The Basics

Stand-Up Comedy 1 is a beginner level class designed to help folks learn how to write, edit, and organize an act take it to the next level. This class will work on developing a persona and developing the tool box that includes crowd work, riffing, and specialty writing for commercial application. Over the 4 weeks you’ll create 5 minutes of stand-up comedy that will culminate with a graduation show at the end where students will show off their new skills.
