Improv 4: Forms

PREREQS: Improv 1 AND Improv 2 AND Improv 3 (or if equivalent experience, please reach out!)
CLASS SIZE: Minimum 6 to run

This eight-week class builds on the ensemble awareness and thematic play developed in The Harold. In Level 4, students will be introduced to two distinct long form formats, each offering a unique lens through which to explore character, structure, and storytelling.

Students will broaden their understanding of how form can shape content, learning to adapt their scene work to serve the rhythm and requirements of each format. With time dedicated to exploration and experimentation, the class will ultimately choose one form to refine and perform as their graduation show. Emphasis will be placed on group decision-making, ensemble cohesion, and committing fully to a shared vision.
