Degrees in Disagreement w/ Elijah Crocker - (12/7)
Date: Thursday, December 7
Time: 12:00PM - 4:00PM
Class Size: Minimum of 8 to run, max of 16 students.
In improv and life, we don’t always get to choose who we work with and even when we do, our friends don’t always make the choices we might expect them to. Elijah Crocker will teach you how to use your improv and life skills to make the most out of your improv scenes, even when everyone is not on the same page.
This workshop is designed to help improvisers hold true to their ideas and beliefs(both as the actor and the character) as they navigate disagreements in their scenes. The goal of the workshop is to create interesting, fulfilling scenes while handling conflict in a way that emphasizes progress, rather than who is right or who is wrong. Through a series of exercises, noted scene work, and reflection, improvisers will learn to create fun scenes for themselves and the audience and be given tools to enjoy a difficult scene or heck, even a difficult scene partner.
