It may be April, but you’re no fool! You know to check out Rochester’s comedic happenings here at The Focus Theater.
The month kicks off with “JFT and Friends” on Friday, April 11th. John Forrest Thompson is back with more Chicago-style improv and his ever-changing group of performers.
The following week, on Saturday, April 19th, celebrate 4/20 just a smidge early with “Aww Yeah… The Edibles Are Kicking In.” The audience won’t be the only ones giggling as the entire cast will be super high!
The month wraps up with the Saw-themed “I Want to Play a Game.” It’s life or (figurative) death for these improvisers as they battle it out through various short-form games. What does Jigsaw have in store for them? Find out on Saturday, April 26th!
Looking into May, Rochester comedian Shawn Hennessey is bringing his stand-up showcase, "The Night of 1000 Johns," to the Focus on Friday, May 2nd.
The next night, on Saturday, May 3rd, “The Improv Plate” returns to its regular spot in the lineup. Anyone can perform as a part of this FREE community show!
We’re not joking around this month! April’s offerings are fresh as hell, so stop by and check them out. Stay tuned for more exciting events and shows here at The Focus Theater.
