Rochester Fringe Festival

If our calendar looks a little light, it's because we're getting ready to host Rochester Fringe Festival. From September 9 - September 20, we'll be hosting dozens of performances. Visit our Fringe page to learn what acts you can see at The Focus Theater!

Join us on Saturday, September 6th for a FREE Fringe kick off event where you can meet some of the performers, try improv for yourself, and enjoy free pizza!

Upcoming Workshops

Workshops at the Focus Theater are taught by passionate community members and cover a wide range of subjects.

Usually, these sessions are limited to a duration of only 2-3 hours, allowing individuals to dip their toes or engage in concentrated advanced study.

Every season, The Focus Theater teaches an Intro to Improv class, alongside other higher level improv classes.

The Focus Theater also offers a rotating selection of stand-up and sketch comedy classes, as well as general acting and character training.
