If you've ever seen an improv show and thought, "I can do that" or "I want to give that a shot," this class is for you! In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of improvisation, including “yes, and,” teamwork, and developing a sense of play. You will play theatre games and perform short scenes, making everything up on the spot! This is your chance to explore your comedic voice and begin to meet the infinite number of characters that exist within you. Improv is an art form and a tool for life: it can help you become a better listener, creative thinker, and public speaker. This class is open to all levels of experience.

About the Teacher:
Megan Mack is an improviser, sketch comedy writer, and television and radio producer. She is a graduate of the Conservatory and Writing programs at The Second City Training Centre in Toronto, and has studied with Jimmy Carrane, Armando Diaz, Susan Messing, T.J. Jagodowski, and David Pasquesi. Megan performs with the improv and sketch comedy troupe, Thank You Kiss. She teaches improv and sketch comedy workshops and coaches teams throughout the area.
